What I found that solved the problem for me was that the instructions (to my recollection) FAIL TO MENTION that within that beautiful onscreen menu system on the Aptus back there is a small function setting that you must change to make everything function properly with the view camera lens setup. I had ordered the correct Camera-to-Sync cable from Leaf and attached the cable correctly as shown in the photo and then followed all of the steps outlined as was necessary for my "in the field" setup. Now a couple of things to note: I initially did not have any success with this setup just like you. Note: If you want to work with an external flash, connect the Flash Sync cableīetween the Leaf Aptus digital camera back and the Flash/Strobe units.
